Build Confidence in Mental Health Support

Confidence to care. Skills to support.

About Us

Hunter Wellbeing Training is dedicated to building mental health awareness, confidence and practical skills across workplaces and communities throughout the Hunter Valley. We believe that everyone has a role to play in supporting mental health, and that the right knowledge can make a meaningful difference. Through practical, inclusive and engaging training, we aim to equip people with the skills to recognise when someone may be struggling, approach conversations with confidence and compassion, and connect people with appropriate support. Our goal is to foster more informed, supportive and mentally healthy workplaces and communities, where people feel understood, valued and empowered to seek help when they need it.

Our Story

Hunter Wellbeing Training was developed from a passion for supporting people, strengthening communities and improving access to mental health education across the Hunter.

Through my work in community services, I have seen the importance of building mental health awareness, reducing stigma and equipping people with the confidence to support others. These experiences inspired me to establish Hunter Wellbeing Training, with the goal of making practical, evidence-based mental health education more accessible to individuals, community groups and workplaces.

My approach is grounded in the belief that everyone has a role to play in supporting mental health. By providing accessible training and practical skills, I aim to help people recognise when someone may be struggling, respond with confidence and connect them with appropriate support.

Hunter Wellbeing Training is committed to creating more informed, confident and supportive communities, starting right here in the Hunter Valley.
